Easyfix DIY Draught Excluders
Easyfix Draught Excluders are a cost effective way of reducing heat loss and noise penetration around windows and doors. They can be placed within the frame, so the door or window compresses to form a seal when closed, or on the outside of frame or door masking the gap on closure.
There are plenty of different styles, colours and materials, from blades to brushes, using flaps and foams, all of which are introduced in the video on this page. All the products are easy to cut and install, with large and small gaps equally accommodated.

Door Frame Draught Excluders
Door Frame Excluders are made up of a rigid plastic or aluminium carrier that holds a flexible bubble or blade, or a short brush. These are attached to the sides and top of door frames so that the closed door is in contact to create a perimeter seal.
With several colours for each style they make an effective and attractive insulator that is easy to cut to size and fit. -
Door Bottom Draught Excluders
Door bottom (threshold) excluders attach to the base of the door with a protruding strip or brush that covers the gap when the door is closed. With two different sizes of brush and plastic or metal carriers, these excluders are simple to attach with the fixings provided. The brushes or strips flex in order to allow the door to open and close easily.

Easyfix Letterbox Draught Excluders
Letterbox draught excluders either replace existing fittings or enhance them by adding insulation to the inside of a wooden door. All styles use a brush to stop the draughts, and this can be covered by a sprung flap in either plain plastic or attractive anodised aluminium. The Duo system is 2 part, providing a full replacement system for PVC or wood door, with flaps and brush.

Easyfix Foam and EPDM Draught Excluders
Foam and EPDM draught excluders work by being stuck to a clean frame, then compressing into an airtight barrier when the door or window is closed against them. Several styles and sizes are available, to accommodate large and small gaps.
Bristle is useful where lateral movement is involved, such as a sliding panel, as the bristle insulate but allow this movement.

Acoustic Smoke Seal Excluders
The Acoustic Smoke Seal is a 90 degree adhesive profile with flexible fins that sticks to a frame. When the door is closed, the fins engage against it to form an air pocket that provides significant insulation against noise, smoke, heat and smells.
The fins spring back to their original position on opening the door, ready for compression again, time after time.
