Easyfix Screw Down Secondary Glazing
For secure fittings that can be taken down in summer, there are screw down systems. Both of the Easyfix DIY systems can also be used externally if required.
Clipglaze uses flexible edging that is pinned to the window with strong turnbutton clips. Easy to apply and mitre, the strips are available in 3 colours and 5 sizes of glazing thickness. They can be bought as separates or in convenient kits.
Once in place, Clipglaze panes can be removed easily by turning the buttons for access to the window. Replacement of the panes is just as simple.
Superglaze is a popular product using a rigid PVC capping that pushes onto the sheet edges, and is then screwed to the window surround. A cover strip hides the screws making an attractive frame which can be mitred at the corners. Superglaze is available in 2 colours.
