Plastic Flat Bar and Edgings
-
Plastic Flat Bar
Plastic Flat Bars are rigid, with 4 square corners, making them suitable for cover strips, fascia, bump strips along walls and spacers. For high impact environments there is a Heavy Duty Bar.
-
Flat Half Round Edging
Flat Half Round profile is a flat strip with square corners at the bottom and rounded corners on top, making it suitable for use as an edge or wear strip where it will be handled.
The rigid version has enough flexibility to accommodate a modest radius, while the flexible version will take tight curves in its stride. They can both be pinned or bonded into position.

Lipped Edging and Hockey Stick
There are two common types of flat edge with a hook or return, so as to cover and protect a surface finish on a cut edge. This can prevent chipping to a veneer or laminate finish.
Lipped Edging has a thin angled return, while Hockey Stick has a half moon or bullnose return providing a little more bump protection.

Flexible Edgings
Tubeway's flexible profiles are largely for capping and edging so as to provide impact or bump protection. They will all accommodate corners and curves, with "invisible" mitres as required.
Flextible T Section has a domed top and a barbed stem. Flat Half Round has rounded top corners.
Flexible Capping is a 2mm to 6mm channel designed to edge glass and other fragile, sharp or hard surfaces.
